Blind conscience.

I hope that when the world comes to an end I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to.

I had my first day, probably my first shot, I had to kind of flounce out of a room when Dumbledore, played by the late, great Richard Harris, put me in my place, and there was no line written, no exit line. And I’d been humiliated, and my plan had come to nothing. And I said to Chris Columbus, “Don’t you think there should be a line?” And he said, “Well, say something. Say whatever you like.” So we did another take, and I hadn’t told anyone what I was going to do. And as I turned to leave, I looked at Daniel, and I said, “Let us hope Mr. Potter will always be around to save the day.” And then Daniel, who was all of 12, stepped right up to me, looked me right in the eye, and said “Don’t worry. I will be.” A chill went down my spine. And as he did it, I thought, “Christ, this kid is good.”

cupidsbullets: In the beginning, there was a boy. A young, innocent boy who felt so out of place and couldn’t decide why. Who felt rejected, unwanted and so unloved. A boy who always wanted more. Always wanted freedom, a way out. A young boy who, for so long, never knew the truth. Never knew the real reason for the scar on his forehead, never knew the real reason why his aunt and uncle seemed to hate him, never knew the real reason why he felt so unfulfilled. This boy eventually found out the truth, and in doing so, found his home.. and we found it with him. This boy grew, made friends and learnt so many lessons.. and we did so with him. This boy fought off evil with the most amazing people he’s ever met, became the most amazing person, grew to be a hero.. and we were there every step of the way. When Harry, Ron and Hermione grew, we grew. When they learnt, we learnt. When they were happy, when they were was sad.. we were there to feel it with them. When Harry discovered magic, discovered the endless possibilities.. We did too. And it will never leave us, no matter how old we grow, no matter how tired we become, no matter where we go in life.. Magic, is everywhere.
